Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans

  • We represent more than 20 of the best prescription drug plans.
  • We have a certified pharmacy technician who comes in weekly to evaluate the best plan for your individual needs.
  • We use Medicare.gov to help determine the plan with the lowest true out of pocket cost for your specific drugs.
Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage) pays for generic and brand name prescription drugs. You can receive prescription drug coverage by joining a stand-alone prescription drug plan or by purchasing a Medicare Advantage plan that includes the coverage. As with Medicare supplement insurance, you may not need Part D if you have this benefit with a group plan.

Only private insurance companies approved by Medicare can offer the coverage.

You may sign up when you first become eligible for Medicare (three months before the month you turn age 65 until three months after you turn age 65). If you get Medicare due to a disability, you can join from three months before to three months after your 25th month of cash disability payments. If you don't sign up when you are first eligible, you may pay a penalty. If you did not join when you were first eligible, your next opportunity to join will be during the annual enrollment period from November 15 to 11:59 P.M. on December 31 of each year.

ALL Medicare Prescription Drug plans ARE subject to change during November 15 to December 31.  If you already have a Prescription Drug plan, you are advised to re-evaluate your drug plan during this period of time even if it is currently working well for you because all plans are subject to change.
